Are you a fan of New Rock 104.1?  Well we got two of the DJ’s from there on our show this week, Hammer and Rash.  And they come without censors or the FCC.  A long and very entertaining show that touches on so many topics such as:  Dirty Dowdy taking creadit for @imJmi’s success, topless dentistry, doomsday shelters, necrophilia, Red Line, Comic Con 2010, and if Carl Weathers dead?  Plus, what would a party with Kiefer Sutherland, Mel Gibson, Pat O’Brien, Russell Crowe, and Christian Bale be like.  Our big music topic this week is what is the best band that you like that people don’t know.  Some very interesting choices from the table.  And of course, Mel Gibson in a Closet Chapter 2.  This show is definitely NSFW but still, give it a listen.  Also, keep checking back on here or our Twitter to see when some surprise shows will be popping up.  Hit me up on Twitter (@dirtydowdy) Word!

The band Synezra came in studio this week and to be expected, brought some insanity.  To say the show went off the rails is an understatement.  Almost too much to say went on, but I will give it a try.  We talked about the child porn/American Beauty crossover, Craigslist, ACLU, the history between Clint and Dowdy in yet another band, Lindsay Lohan and the first installment of Mel Gibson in the Closet.  With Drea on maternity leave, you get to see what happens when a bunch of guys are in a room alone with alcohol and microphones.  We also got a phone call from Lindsay from World of Meh to discuss her One Love For Chi charity and the blog-a-thon coming July 31.  We also got nostalgic and brought back some old goodies in a game of Brittany, Lindsay or Paris.  During the game you can listen to how fast Vic can drink a full beer.  And to top it all off we got a live acoustic set from the band Synezra you you will kill yourself to miss. Word!!

The boys from the south valley are back as Lance and Jesse from Triple Vega are back and brought with them Lewis from their new band Maddox.  We will also had Jose @imJmi Iniguez calling in with the celebrity clambake.  Kind of let loose with the guys as Drea was off celebrating her birthday.  Clambake, Viral Video Victims, Yahoo! Very crowded and packed show tonight.  Unfortunately Drea and Ricky Ingles were unable to make the show but Mole Star Kevin made up for them, plus we got to hear from the other two on the phone.  In studio we had promoter extraordinaire Art Silva and the band Say Swear.  We also talked to Dave DeRoo from the band Adema.  We heard from the band and the show they are playing Friday June 18 at the Starline with Adema, Leather Serpent and others.  We also gave away tickets to Korn in Bako and the aforementioned show.  We had the listeners participate in a spelling bee to win their tickets.  Also Jayson and Adam from Say Swear performed an awesome acoustic show.  I have to apologize for the bad audio at the very beginning but everything gets cleared up quick.  So enjoy the show and if you like what you hear there will be a separate Say Swear acoustic set later.  Word.

Another amazing live performance in our studio this week, this time with Merced based band A.S.A.V.D. Paranormal activity, fights and rape.  We had it all.  Michael Banti from www.weirdfresno.com joined us this week to talk about Bigfoot, ghosts and other weird occurrences.  And to make sure the show was even more nuts we added Rash from New Rock 104.1 to the mix.  Insanity.  As far as the ghost stories go Thik Vic has a very intense story involving a homemade Ouija board.  And he also discusses the KFC Double Down.  We also get into a very serious discussion about prostitution and rape.  There are zombies.  Oh and MMA vs. Boxing that comes down to a grudge match with Ricky Ingles and Rash.  Serious enough that we almost had to go outside to settle it.  And to top it off Rash has some words for China.  Lots of stuff to enjoy.

Well it’s finally here (Monica).  One year ago we started this project and have gotten to this point.  This show has a little of everything that encompasses The Dirty Dowdy Podcast.  You will get to hear clips from our first outing at the Tea Party, Lucky 13, Randy’s Rap, Ricky Ingles’ first show, and Chris from Subdue killing a relationship on air.  You get to hear the punishment Dowdy takes from the NAW wrestlers, and the staple that Clint from Synezra puts into his arm.  Also some never before heard clips of the show in its infancy when Kevin, Vic and Dowdy stood in a garage talking into a stick mic.

We also hear from some listeners on air discussing their favorite moments and playing for some CD’s.  We talk about the past, present and the future of our show and give you some hints of what’s to come.  And of course you will get a Clambake, Yahoo News and all the other fun stuff you have come to know on our show.  So please take a listen, pop a beer or 8 and enjoy in our celebration that wouldn’t be possible without the help from you listeners.  Thank you so much.  And we hope to see you next year.  Word!!!!
