Well what can I say, after 28 years of putting myself in awkward places and scenarios, someone had to point out that I would be a good radio personality. So naturally I split with my wife, moved out of my house, sold my belongings and began a 6 month internship at a local radio station. In my time there I learned a lot of things about how radio works. I got to see behind the curtain. While waiting for a timeslot to open up for me I decided to start putting my ideas to work. After gathering my friends and trying to get their involvement in this, the Dirty Dowdy Podcast was born. We started off in a garage with a laptop gathered around a stick mic and just over a month later we had the right equipment and personalities together to do a show.

Now my days are filled with working at the radio station and coming up with ideas for the show while driving around good old Fresno in my car/mobile home. Hopefully all my effort is not wasted and you the listener will enjoy the fruit of our labor.

I first met Dowdy 11 years ago in high school and have been good friends all throughout college.  Since then I have traveled the world and have gotten married.  As a big talk radio fan, when Chris first brought up the idea of doing a podcast, I was like… ‘Hell yeah, lets do this.’  Since then, I have busted my ass as both the engineer and co-host of this show.  I guess I’ll continure to do it until either Chris dies of liver failure or my wife tells me to stop.

I’m the only female on this podcast. Except for the times we have other female guests on the show. I met Dowdy years ago through mutual friends. Mostly hung out with him at parties and gatherings. He’s a very intriguing individual. I like hanging out with friends and having conversations about controversial topics. Well, I mostly like to hear what other people have to say.  I’m very much on the fence about most topics because both sides of a case have valid points.  I love movies but I hate when people talk in the movies.  I just want to tell them “Hey pal, I didn’t pay $10 to hear your thoughts..And you’re not funny anyway”…but I never tell them that though. My idea of a great time is just being around good people and having a good conversation.  I’m usually pretty easy going.  Hope you enjoy the show!

So, of all of Chris’ friends that design websites (I’m looking at you Intern Seth), Chris deemed me the most gullible and roped me into designing, hosting, and running the Dirty Dowdy Podcast website. Ha, in all seriousness, Chris has been a general annoyance of mine for the better part of 10 years now…hard to believe I’ve stayed friends with him this long…  So I do computer stuff, websites, and other web developer things that I could tell you, but then I would have to kill you.
