The band Synezra came in studio this week and to be expected, brought some insanity. To say the show went off the rails is an understatement. Almost too much to say went on, but I will give it a try. We talked about the child porn/American Beauty crossover, Craigslist, ACLU, the history between Clint and Dowdy in yet another band, Lindsay Lohan and the first installment of Mel Gibson in the Closet. With Drea on maternity leave, you get to see what happens when a bunch of guys are in a room alone with alcohol and microphones. We also got a phone call from Lindsay from World of Meh to discuss her One Love For Chi charity and the blog-a-thon coming July 31. We also got nostalgic and brought back some old goodies in a game of Brittany, Lindsay or Paris. During the game you can listen to how fast Vic can drink a full beer. And to top it all off we got a live acoustic set from the band Synezra you you will kill yourself to miss. Word!!

Tonights show we interviewed, in studio, Kasey Kahl from ABC’s The Bachlorette and also Jose Iniguez, better known as @imJmi, who is a finalist for MTV’s Twitter Jockey search. A very insightful and informative interview with Kasey that gave us a peak behind the curtain of the show. He talks everything Ali, Justin and ABC. Remember 2 weeks ago we scored the very first interview with him and now we get him and his tattoo in studio. Jose did his part to inform us about how the MTV Twitter Jockey search and how you can take part in helping a south valley native become the very first TJ. Even after talking to us for a minute, he stepped in to take part in Drea’s Celebrity Clambake. He gave his view on the Lindsay Lohan and her legal issues. Plus 50 Cent, 90210 and Megan Fox.

Reality television in all its glory on this show. Spike TV’s Ultimate Fighter season 2 contestant Jason ‘Livewire’ Von Flue was in studio to talk about his experiences on the show and about the VFC. One of those VFC fighters, Tim ‘Man Batt” Eastom was also in the house to talk about how he got started and what it takes to learn the business. And familiar face Amadeo from Vanquish Sports was in studio to talk about VS’s involvement with the VFC and Jason Von Flue.

Another reality star made an appearance too. Kasey Kahl from ABC’s The Bachelorette called in to tell us what he could about his experience and even talked about “The Tattoo.” It got a little fiesty as Jason and Kasey started attacking the local newspaper’s online site, The Beehive and a story published about Kasey. Comedy fans this show is for you. We brought back Phillip Medina and Eloy Campos, as well as giving poor Eloy a mic this time. Also in studio is Danny Minch, a fellow comedian who will be on the Madtown Comedy Jam VI bill Friday 25, 2010. We will have tickets for that show during this next week so stay tuned to the Dirty Dowdy Podcast website for details. We also do a phone interview and announce the special guest on the bill for that show. Listen in to find out who that is as well as when the Dirty Dowdy Podcast will be on the show.

Drea and Ricky Ingles also make their return and we discuss all the good things like the clambake, the Yahoo News, and some World Cup action. And the biggest challenge of all, the Double Down Showdown between Ricky and Phillip. We see who can take down an entire KFC Double Down and an apple pie. It was disguesting for sure and very entertaining.

Lots of stuff coming in this next week. Friday night Dowdy will be hosting the Adema show at the Starline with Say Swear, Leather Serpent and others. Come out and hang with him. Sunday at 1:30 we will be online with special guest Randy Stindt as well as the 16 year reunion of the band The Schmucks. For those of you who missed the show Monday night, Thik Vic and I decided to enjoy a free Monday and get drunk. During that process we thought it was a good idea to broadcast a show. So for the next couple hours we talked about a lot of topics including my old band The Schmucks, the origins of the Getting to know your Local Child Molester, the history of the podcast and its start, its break-up and its return, and we gave away Adema tickets. This was a lot of fun for us and the many callers that played a part in this show. So much fun in fact that we may just do this every Monday through out the summer. Very crowded and packed show tonight. Unfortunately Drea and Ricky Ingles were unable to make the show but Mole Star Kevin made up for them, plus we got to hear from the other two on the phone. In studio we had promoter extraordinaire Art Silva and the band Say Swear. We also talked to Dave DeRoo from the band Adema. We heard from the band and the show they are playing Friday June 18 at the Starline with Adema, Leather Serpent and others. We also gave away tickets to Korn in Bako and the aforementioned show. We had the listeners participate in a spelling bee to win their tickets. Also Jayson and Adam from Say Swear performed an awesome acoustic show. I have to apologize for the bad audio at the very beginning but everything gets cleared up quick. Well it’s finally here (Monica). One year ago we started this project and have gotten to this point. This show has a little of everything that encompasses The Dirty Dowdy Podcast. You will get to hear clips from our first outing at the Tea Party, Lucky 13, Randy’s Rap, Ricky Ingles’ first show, and Chris from Subdue killing a relationship on air. You get to hear the punishment Dowdy takes from the NAW wrestlers, and the staple that Clint from Synezra puts into his arm. Also some never before heard clips of the show in its infancy when Kevin, Vic and Dowdy stood in a garage talking into a stick mic.

We also hear from some listeners on air discussing their favorite moments and playing for some CD’s. We talk about the past, present and the future of our show and give you some hints of what’s to come. For the first time since April 21, 2009 we did a show with just the Crew, Dirty Dowdy, Thik Vic, Drea and Ricky Ingles. Someone was high, some people were drunk and one was pregnant. Guess who was who. It is definitely interesting to hear this crew together unbridled and uninhibited. We go over Valentines Day and our plans as well as tips to get a girl out of the house after a hookup. We also discuss Drea’s baby daddy and whether or not he is a better lover than Ricky Ingles. It was a crazy show. Love to hear what you think of it.

Next week we have Allan the Angry Ranter on to discuss LOST. And possibly an interview with the Jersey Shore crew. Stay tuned.

Welcome to our little bit of Haiti Relief. As you will soon learn, this show we came up with a creative way to raise money for the Haiti earthquake victims. To help us we brought in Mr. Facebook himself, Jon Law Hastings, along with Kevin the Molestar and Selin covering for Drea. This show took an interesting twist. Racism, language, and disturbing talk dominates the majority of this show as well as more R. Kelly, a new sports guy, and some intriguing sex talk near the end. Don’t listen near a boss or child. It is finally here, our year end review. And no one better to help us than Mike Oz, columnist from the Fresno Bee and the Fresno Beehive.com. It was a long show and that was part of the delay in getting it to you. But there was so much to talk about. And we had Molestar Kevin in the studio too. Unfortunately Drea was unable to make the show but Mike filled in for her Yahoo! News. We listened to pornstar Eva Angelina, seller-of-things Vince and the Slap Chop, chapter 2 of R. Kelly, and Mike try to convince Dowdy to inbed himself in a meth factory or a story. After all of our normal weekly segments, we got into a very interesting interview with Mike. If you have ever been interested in journalism or knowing the behind the scenes at a newspaper, you need to hear this. And we top it all off with our Top 3 of 2009. We go around the table and name our best movies, television shows, music and personal moments of 2009. And being that it is the Crew, you know that it is not boring. If you have listened from the beginning of our show you would have heard Sam on our second show back on April 29. Anyways show starts off with our brand new intro, something new for the new year. We get into Tiger Woods again and hear his slow jam. Drea leads us in a heated discussion of the Bro Code and the matching Girl Code. If you can crack the code, you might understand better about this mysterious Betsy and why she is so fucking hot. And another week, another edition of R. Kelly’s In the Closet. We go in depth this week on this masterpiece. Are you a fan of M. Night Shamalan? We will discuss his filmography. Drea also asks the room of guys about our preference of lingerie. And choking. And oral? And beastiality on the 3rd date?!? DJ’s and the Crew drinking and anything goes. Bottling farts do anything for you? Vic and Rash share their secrets. Even though Drea couldn’t make it, Thick and I moved on and did the show with the boys from Synezra, Dip, Clint, and Dre. To commemorate this event we decided to share our dreams. Sorry for the late posting guys. I have been dealing with a tragidy and broken ribs. Not two great motivators. Anyways we had Allan the Angry Ranter in studio this week to hang out with us. He starts right off with a bomb and moves on to discussing the Shit Club. Apparently we aren’t moving away from toilet humor this week. Anyways this style of humor has Drea going off in the giggles. Next week we will drug test her. WE also get into what happened on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday Drea, Thick and I went out to see Triple Vega at the Starline and had yet again another crazy outing. And Sunday Vic and I met up with Photo Girl Joanna at the NAW show in downtown Fresno. Listen to find out how that turned out. We also ran another of our moral debate series, What Would Jesus Do? And we opened it up to you the listener to send me your questions to ask Pastor Bobby Joe and Ricky Ingles. Just send your questions to Chris@dirtydowdy.com. We also discuss sports again this week. We question why anyone likes the team they do and fighting in sports. Drea did her news and we talk about robbing banks and an awkward situation we put ourselves in a bank. Just a Quickie before I head out for the weekend. Tonight I will be at the Starline in the Tower District. Triple Vega will be performing. Thick, Drea and I will all be making an appearance. Also Sunday I will be a part of the NAW show. I will be doing some ring announcing and maybe, maybe I will try to do something dirty to cost the Tapout Kid his title match. Fantastic show in the can. We had the boys, Showtime Billy Silver, Red Rhino, and Olie Valenz, from North American Wrestling in the studio. I have talked about them the last couple weeks and they were here to relive my in ring debut. Sounds like I commited to doing it again so if you want to witness my execution in person, hit me up and leave a comment. I’ll let you know when we are doing it again.

We also debuted a new segment called What Would Jesus Do? Plus we had sports news, Drea’s Yahoo News Clip of the Week, and an Allan the Angry Ranter titled, A Bag of Flour. After all that fun stuff we played a game of Are you Smarter Than A 5th Grader pitting Team NAW and Team Ramathorn (Thick and Drea). If you listen all the way through you will notice that the sound starts to crackle a bit. That is because a beer got spilled into the mixer halfway through the show. That sound was our future coming to an end. But we pushed through and finished.

You may notice the countdown on the right side of the homepage. I have been teasing a big announcement for weeks and that countdown will end when the big announcement comes. Stay tuned.

This Sunday we will be making an appearance at their local live show which you can find at 701 ‘L’ Street in downtown Fresno. This building is located right next door to the Radisson Hotel. The doors open at 4:00 PM and maybe, just maybe you might see me get involved. I would love to see you guys out there supporting our guests and the Dirty Dowdy Podcast Crew. It was advertised as Mercury Bullet but unfortunately they had to cancel just a few hours before showtime. Luckily Allan the Angry Ranter was there to fill in. Not only him but we also got a visit from Stat Boy Greg. If you ever wanted to get to know us this is the episode to do so. Show started off with insanity. I was not allowed to gain control with all these characters in the studio. You can hear me trying to restart the show but I was vetoed. It was a lost cause after that. Pranks, dental floss, party war stories. We have it all here. Plus not only did we have another Allan the Angry Ranter story, but the show became a non stop rant from the man. Stat Boy Greg gave us something special with the website of the day. So I highly recommend you crack a few beers and soak it in. I’m looking forward to next week when I will be on vacation, but Thick, Drea and Ricky Ingles will be in studio to burn the place down. Maybe I should reconsider leaving.

Yo Yo Yo. This week we got Stuart Webb in the studio with his Man-tourage. We discussed all that’s going on in his world, his music, his video blogs and we play a fun game of Ass Rapwards. Last night we brought in our first band, Park Layne. Representing the band was Brandon and Chad. Lots of beer and lots of fun stories. We talked about the start of the band and its history, their upcoming tour, played a couple of their songs, Drea did her Yahoo! Another show in the can. We did a special Sci-Fi show that started last Thursday when the Dirty Dowdy Podcast crew went out to a local movie theater to interview hardcore fans waiting in line for the new Star Trek Movie. To top it off Dirty Dowdy’s mother showed up to do the interviews, quizzing these fans on their knowledge of Star Trek. We also gave our victims a chance to stump Momma Dowdy. We also hear Momma Dowdy’s view of our show, talk about all things Sci-Fi, Yahoo! News and hear some stories about Dirty Dowdy’s youth. Overall it was a great show. Please give it a listen and spread word to your friends, because without your help, we won’t continue to grow.

Fresno Tea Party Podcast (Part 1)

Our first offical run with the podcast we went to the streets, or more specifically the parking lot of the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA to interview people at the Fresno Tea Party, part of the nation wide protest. We got a bunch of great guests that gave us their, interesting, view points. This includes the guy on a horse, some high school girls, and Robert the YouTube guy. It was an interesting day to say the least. And my pasty white skin got a nice flash of red when we were done.
