Are you a fan of New Rock 104.1?  Well we got two of the DJ’s from there on our show this week, Hammer and Rash.  And they come without censors or the FCC.  A long and very entertaining show that touches on so many topics such as:  Dirty Dowdy taking creadit for @imJmi’s success, topless dentistry, doomsday shelters, necrophilia, Red Line, Comic Con 2010, and if Carl Weathers dead?  Plus, what would a party with Kiefer Sutherland, Mel Gibson, Pat O’Brien, Russell Crowe, and Christian Bale be like.  Our big music topic this week is what is the best band that you like that people don’t know.  Some very interesting choices from the table.  And of course, Mel Gibson in a Closet Chapter 2.  This show is definitely NSFW but still, give it a listen.  Also, keep checking back on here or our Twitter to see when some surprise shows will be popping up.  Hit me up on Twitter (@dirtydowdy) Word!

The band Synezra came in studio this week and to be expected, brought some insanity.  To say the show went off the rails is an understatement.  Almost too much to say went on, but I will give it a try.  We talked about the child porn/American Beauty crossover, Craigslist, ACLU, the history between Clint and Dowdy in yet another band, Lindsay Lohan and the first installment of Mel Gibson in the Closet.  With Drea on maternity leave, you get to see what happens when a bunch of guys are in a room alone with alcohol and microphones.  We also got a phone call from Lindsay from World of Meh to discuss her One Love For Chi charity and the blog-a-thon coming July 31.  We also got nostalgic and brought back some old goodies in a game of Brittany, Lindsay or Paris.  During the game you can listen to how fast Vic can drink a full beer.  And to top it all off we got a live acoustic set from the band Synezra you you will kill yourself to miss. Word!!

The boys from the south valley are back as Lance and Jesse from Triple Vega are back and brought with them Lewis from their new band Maddox.  We will also had Jose @imJmi Iniguez calling in with the celebrity clambake.  Kind of let loose with the guys as Drea was off celebrating her birthday.  Clambake, Viral Video Victims, Yahoo! Tonights show we  interviewed, in studio, Kasey Kahl from ABC’s The Bachlorette and also Jose Iniguez, better known as @imJmi, who is a finalist for MTV’s Twitter Jockey search.  A very insightful and informative interview with Kasey that gave us a peak behind the curtain of the show.  He talks everything Ali, Justin and ABC.  Remember 2 weeks ago we scored the very first interview with him and now we get him and his tattoo in studio.  Jose did his part to inform us about how the MTV Twitter Jockey search and how you can take part in helping a south valley native become the very first TJ.  Even after talking to us for a minute, he stepped in to take part in Drea’s Celebrity Clambake.  He gave his view on the Lindsay Lohan and her legal issues.  Plus 50 Cent, 90210 and Megan Fox.

Reality television in all its glory on this show.  Spike TV’s Ultimate Fighter season 2 contestant Jason ‘Livewire’ Von Flue was in studio to talk about his experiences on the show and about the VFC.  One of those VFC fighters, Tim ‘Man Batt” Eastom was also in the house to talk about how he got started and what it takes to learn the business.  And familiar face Amadeo from Vanquish Sports was in studio to talk about VS’s involvement with the VFC and Jason Von Flue.

Another reality star made an appearance too.  Kasey Kahl from ABC’s The Bachelorette called in to tell us what he could about his experience and even talked about “The Tattoo.”  It got a little fiesty as Jason and Kasey started attacking the local newspaper’s online site, The Beehive and a story published about Kasey.  Be sure, there will be a response.  Just like the Dirty Dowdy Podcast to stir the pot.  Take a listen and leave a message on your thoughts of the showdown.

Comedy fans this show is for you.  We brought back Phillip Medina and Eloy Campos, as well as giving poor Eloy a mic this time. Also in studio is Danny Minch, a fellow comedian who will be on the Madtown Comedy Jam VI bill Friday 25, 2010.  We will have tickets for that show during this next week so stay tuned to the Dirty Dowdy Podcast website for details.  We also do a phone interview and announce the special guest on the bill for that show.  Listen in to find out who that is as well as when the Dirty Dowdy Podcast will be on the show.

Drea and Ricky Ingles also make their return and we discuss all the good things like the clambake, the Yahoo News, and some World Cup action.  And the biggest challenge of all, the Double Down Showdown between Ricky and Phillip.  We see who can take down an entire KFC Double Down and an apple pie.  It was disguesting for sure and very entertaining.

Lots of stuff coming in this next week.  Friday night Dowdy will be hosting the Adema show at the Starline with Say Swear, Leather Serpent and others.  Come out and hang with him.  Sunday at 1:30 we will be online with special guest Randy Stindt as well as the 16 year reunion of the band The Schmucks.  It will be some fun and be open for callers as we will be drinking and BBQing and remenising about the old days of our group of friends.  If you ever wanted to know anything about us that is the day to tune in and you can ask your questions.  Also Vic and Dowdy may be doing a show Monday afternoon.  And.  Next Wednesday we bring the fighters back.  Jason Von Flue and Josh from Vanquish Sports will be studio to talk all things fighting.  And all those dates we will be giving away tickets for concerts and comedy shows and even some music.  Word.

For those of you who missed the show Monday night, Thik Vic and I decided to enjoy a free Monday and get drunk.  During that process we thought it was a good idea to broadcast a show.  So for the next couple hours we talked about a lot of topics including my old band The Schmucks, the origins of the Getting to know your Local Child Molester, the history of the podcast and its start, its break-up and its return, and we gave away Adema tickets.  This was a lot of fun for us and the many callers that played a part in this show.  So much fun in fact that we may just do this every Monday through out the summer.   And if you want to watch us, go to our UStream site and you can watch the archived show.  Good Times!
